We're obsessed with dogs
As we began to formulate and develop, we looked at the science behind what made dogs enjoy their toys. We also asked how we could protect the environment and applied those same safety standards. Everyone at Augie Bones® remains committed to help build not just a brand, but a category of sustainably made plant-based toys and products in the Pet Industry. Our goal is to be the cornerstone of change for Pet Industry sustainable material innovations.

Named for our wonderful family member adopted during Covid.
Augie Hart is an 88lb American Staffordshire.
SUSTAINABILITY IS NOT JUST A BUZZ WORD
Our dog Augie was chewing all sorts of bones and chew toys leaving chords of plastic everywhere, all this plastic that couldn’t be recycled as many of the toys are blends of nylon and plastics, not to mention the potential health risk for Augie from constantly swallowing the bits off the toys. We own a sustainable material engineering company, I felt confident we could come up with a better material that was both healthy for our dogs and the planet.
